The goal of the program is energy upgrading, with loans starting at €5,000 and potentially reaching up to €25,000.
The program has no income, asset, or age restrictions, and applies to both primary and secondary residences, which distinguishes it from other similar energy upgrade programs. Repayment can be made over a period of 3 to 7 years.
To be eligible for the program and receive the interest-free loan, applicants must fully own a property that is self-used (either primary or secondary residence) and must not have participated in any other energy upgrade program for their property.
The Ministry estimates that approximately 20,000 citizens will benefit from this initiative.
