Expo Real International Exhibition in Munich, representatives of the biggest real estate companies will meet from October 7 to 9.

EXPO REAL is considered one of the most important international trade fairs for real estate and investment in Europe. This year with 9 stages and discussions in several meeting rooms, it offers more space than ever since it is estimated that more than 2,000 exhibitors and almost 40,000 executives from 75 countries will take part.

The focus is on transformation

At the inaugural 'Transformation: Walk the Talk!', experts will discuss how transformation is put into practice. Several panels at the DECARB Arena will explore how existing buildings, together with cities and districts can be made climate neutral through appropriate measures.

Other topics in the report include resilient portfolios, housing in Europe, but also investing in real estate compared to other asset classes, financing issues and Germany's status as an investment location.

Politicians are expected to discuss housing construction

On the first day of the fair, Klara Geywitz, Federal Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Buildings, will take part in two panels with the dominant theme of housing construction. The Minister of Housing, Construction and Transport of Bavaria, Christian Bernreiter, will also discuss this issue. This year's slogan is "Elections, global market, growth". Another highlight is the lecture by political scientist and risk expert Dr. Ian Bremmer, Chairman and Founder, Eurasia Group and GZERO Media, on "Identifying Opportunities and Managing Risk in an Unstable World" at Rialto Restaurant (next to EXPO REAL FORUM).

Finally, the program highlights a panel discussion on the changing investor landscape and economic and capital market outlook by Dr. Gertrud Traud, Chief Economist at Helaba.
