Based on the amendment request of the Russian tycoon Dmitry Rybolovlev's interests company, to which the legendary Onassis Island passed, in the approved plan, the SD is increased to 0.07 from 0.05 and the built-up area to 31,412.12 sqm from 21,547, 35 sqm while the number of beds increases from 65 to 120.
It is noted that of these 3,995.00 sqm concern the existing buildings to be renovated.
The maximum coverage allowed remains at 10%.
For this project, the Presidential Decree of 3.6.2019 (Government Gazette 302 D'/06-06-2019), of the Special Plan for Spatial Development of Strategic Investment (S.H.A.S.E.) has been issued which foresees the construction of a hotel complex with a presidential suite, the existing Pink House building, conference center, restaurant, wellness center, screening room and entertainment areas, independent villas the so-called "remote villas" with the necessary auxiliary spaces, sports facilities and auxiliary small craft approach jetty.
The initial budget of the project was €165 million and it was expected to employ 120 people during its operation and many times more during construction.
