The exhibition opens this Thursday, March 28, at 19:00 in Karytsi Square, presenting a mix of painting, graphic design and street art.
Like the center of Athens, which in the last decade has been searching for its new identity, this historic apartment is in a process of transition. The six artists, curated by Paris Koutsikos, engage in an "open conversation" with the building and its history, integrating their creations into its temporary narrative. In addition to the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the old Athenian apartment.
“At ehret+klein, we design innovative and sustainable urban living spaces that provide long-term and multiplier value to users, communities and society. Our aim is to harness urban potential and 'fix' cities, contributing to the creative transformation and revitalization of city centres. In this context, the renovation of the 4th floor apartment on Christou Lada Street will breathe new life into a neighborhood that faced significant challenges during the financial crisis. In addition, the original exhibition will revitalize the building and give citizens an attractive reason to visit the neighborhood," states Mr. Michael Ehret, Managing Partner of ehret+klein greece.
