The project is financed by the Region of Attica with €715,434.00 and concerns the local modification of the existing rainwater network and its reinforcement with additional water collection wells, in those places where a large volume of water has been collected, as well as the necessary interventions on vertical roads.
In addition to the drainage works, the project includes the overall reconstruction of Grigoriou Theologou street with new asphalt paving, reconstruction of the sidewalks with paths for the disabled and pedestrian crossings, further strengthening of street lighting with the installation of new technology lamps as well as the stimulation of greenery with new plantings.
At the same time, vehicle parking zones will be created, as with the reconstruction of the sidewalks, the kennels on the right side of the ascent of Gr. Theologu will also be relocated.
