Frigoglass reaches a €62M definitive settlement for its damaged by fire premises in Romania

Frigoglass has already collected a total of 50 million euros in insurance compensation.

Frigoglass reached a definitive agreement with the co-insurance scheme that had taken over the insurance coverage regarding the fire incident that occurred at the company's commercial refrigerator factory in Romania for a total compensation of a net amount of 61.6 million euros related to material damages (compensation of 42 million . euros) and interruption of business activity (compensation of 19.6 million euros).

Frigoglass has already collected a total of 50 million euros in insurance compensation. 

The payment of the remaining amount of €11.6 million is subject to the documentation of the costs related to the reconstruction phase of the building and the purchases of equipment.
