Greek real estate ownership value soars to €761,38B according to AADE

Owners who live in Attica, despite the fact that their real estate properties values was increased by 24.64% due to the adjustment of fair values, have realised ENFIA decreases of c.8.47%.

Greek real estate property amounts to €761.38 billion is being owned by 7,206,608 natural and legal entities, according to the 2022 ENFIA statistics that were published by AADE.

Real estate property values in 2021 was at €643 billion and this remarkable increase was observed mainly due to the adjustment of fair values. The analysis of the data unveils that property owners who live in the Prefecture of Attica -c. 2,557,631 entities- hold in their hands real estate property value that reaches €403 billion, i.e. 53% of the total in Greek teritory.

Owners who live in Attica, despite the fact that their real estate properties values was increased by 24.64% due to the adjustment of fair values, have realised ENFIA decreases of c.8.47%. Thus, it is formed at 1.2 billion euros from 1.31 billion euros that was in 2021.

The biggest decrease in ENFIA was recorded by the inhabitants of the Ionian islands. This is despite the fact that the value of their properties increased by 15% after the implementation of the new fair values. Specifically, the Tax was reduced by 20.95% compared to last year. The Ionians were followed by Crete where it was recorded c.19.09% decrease in ENFIA and the North Aegean where ENFIA was observed decreasing by 19.06%.
