Hellenic Train has filed a lawsuit against OSE, requesting compensation of €1,149,000 + corresponding VAT, with the case pending at the Multi-Member Court of First Instance of Athens from 12/29/2022 as broadcast by ERT.

Hellenic Train, with its lawsuit, accuses OSE of having violated its obligation to properly maintain the railway infrastructure, arguing that OSE "despite the nuisances" has not proceeded to repair the problems, as a result of which the company is charged "for additional works maintenance since September 14, 2017.

Amounts which are due solely to the poor condition of the infrastructure and the non-removal of the related problems".

Hellenic Train specifically refers to work it did from September 14, 2017 to February 28, 2019, with the cost of these amounting to the amount in question.
