The most important thing, however, in the project that is within the timetables, is the fact that the second candidate company "COSMOS" did not submit any appeal within the time frame it had and therefore, the procedures proceed normally within time, without additional delays .
In the next four months, the consortium of the companies AKTOR, TERNA, Mytilineos - having received the first approval as "temporary contractor" - is expected to proceed with all the bureaucratic procedures required for the review of the building permit and the preparation of the following studies, in order to present the file to the municipal authority and to sign the contract between them in July.
With the contract signed, Panathinaikos' new football stadium in the Botanikos area should be ready within 36 months, i.e. by July 2026.
