Alimos Marina enters the final licensing phase as the Joint Ministerial Decision was signed by the Ministries of Environment - Energy and Tourism regarding the long-awaited second approval of the location and environmental conditions.

The right to use and exploit the marina of Alimos for a period of 40 years has been granted to "New Marina Development of Alimos", a subsidiary of AKTOR Concessions of the Ellactor Group, which in turn assigned to REDS Group's subsidiary, the project of development, study and construction.

 The projects include the radical upgrading of the existing port infrastructure and the activity of depositing/maintenance of vessels, as well as the development of building facilities in the land zone with a total area of ​​approximately 210 sq. According to the current PD, the maximum allowed exploitation reaches 18,520 sq.m. with intended uses of tourism, culture and leisure, office and commercial spaces, nautical sports and dining areas.

The marine zone of the marina has a total area of ​​approximately 428 acres and includes a marine mooring area for 1100 pleasure boats with the possibility for another 100 of various sizes with an area of ​​240 acres.

The Land Zone includes 8 OTs in five Sectors in which land uses, conditions and building restrictions are defined

Specifically, they are located:

Sector 1 with a total area of ​​57,506 sq.m., the uses of land storage and maintenance of boats, administration and operation of the marina, tourism - leisure are allowed. The maximum allowed building is 7,160 sq.m. coverage factor of 0.4 and minimum green percentage of 0.02.

Sector 2 with a total area of ​​4,265 sq.m., only administrative and operational uses of the marina are allowed. The maximum permitted building in this Sector is 525 sq.m. coverage factor of 0.4 and minimum green percentage of 0.17.

Sector 3 with a total area of ​​57,386 sq.m., the uses of tourism - recreation, administration and operation of the marina are allowed as well as the preservation of the existing swimming pool. The maximum allowed building in this Sector is 9,015 sq.m. coverage factor of 0.4 and minimum green percentage of 0.22.

Sector 4 In this Sector, with a total area of ​​10,026 sq.m., tourism-leisure uses are allowed, and in particular, the use of restaurants, refreshment bars and outdoor parking areas. The maximum permitted building in this Sector is 1,200 sq.m. a coverage factor of 0.3 and a minimum green percentage of 0.55.

Sector 5 with a total area of ​​7,585 sq.m., the use of nautical sports is allowed. The maximum allowed building in this Sector is 600 sq.m. coverage factor 0.2.
