The International Ideas Competition is organized by the International Union of Architects (UIA) through its Work Programme on Natural and Human-Made Disasters, with the support of the Order of Architects of Morocco.
The competition aims to highlight the complex relationship between human-made and natural crises, and to encourage inspired architectural solutions that can heal, protect, and regenerate affected areas.
The competition is open to young architects worldwide, working individually or in teams, who are under 40 years of age (born after 11 March 1986).
Deadline for inquiries: 15 December 2025
Submission deadline: 11 March 2026 (18:00 Greece time)
The Awards Ceremony and Exhibition will take place at the UIA Congress in Barcelona from 28 June to 2 July 2026.
