More specifically, with an announcement to the Athens Stock Exchange, "INTRACOM HOLDINGS" declared the purchase of 1,937,128 Common Registered Shares of the hotel owner active in the field of tourism in Koufonisia, for a total price of € 4,261,681.60.
The hotel in question was included in the Tethys portfolio which was transferred to the consortium SMERemediumCap / Latonia Enterprises Company Limited – Athanasios Laskaridis family office / WHG Europe Limited – Brown Hotels together with 72 other units in March 2023 and then to the INTRACOM PROPERTIES Group subsidiary.
It is noted that at the end of 2023, Intracom acquired a significant indirect stake in the casinos of Parnitha and Thessaloniki, through Intracom Ventures, a subsidiary of the listed company.
In particular, it acquired 25% of the company "Selene Enterprises", until today a 100% subsidiary of the company "HELLENIC HOTELS LAMPSA SA", which has signed an agreement to acquire 33.91% of the company "REGENCY HELLENIC INVESTMENTS S.A.", through the acquisition of the percentage of shares owned by ALPHA BANK, EUROBANK and ETHNIKI TRAPEZA and the corresponding percentage of the loan (Senior Facility Loan).
INTRACOM VENTURES' participation in "SELENE ENTERPRICES COMPANY LIMITED" will be implemented through share capital increases, in order for INTRACOM VENTURES to cover its proportion (25%) of its overall financing of the transaction.
Completion of the deal is subject to the approval of the Gaming Supervision and Control Committee.
The Kokkalis group already owns a small percentage of Regency Hellenic Investments, through Intralot.
