Intrakat has started working on the Paphos - Polis Chrysochous Motorway construction

It is been reminded that the project consists of a 15 km long motorway with two 900 meter long tunnels and five 1,400 meter long high bridges.

Intrakat has announced the beggining of construction works on the Paphos - Polis Chrysochous Motorway, in Cyprus, amounting to 86.84 million euros.

The ceremony was attended by the President of DISY, Mr. Averof Neofytou, the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works of Cyprus, Mr. Yannis Karousos, the Mayors of Paphos and Polios Chrysochous, Mr. Phaidonas Phaidonas and Mr. Yotis Papachristofis, a number of officials of the Ministry and representatives of the local government, while Intrakat was represented by Mr. Petros Suretis, Managing Director and Mr. Dimitris Pappas, Authorized Consultant.

It is noteworthy that the beggining of construction works on the Pafos-Poles Chrysochous road was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, through a post on his Twitter account, stating: "The Paphos-Poles Chrysochous road which has always been in our priorities , is now becoming a reality. Today's start of construction works fills us with optimism since one of the largest development projects with multiple benefits for the whole of Cyprus is being implemented."

It is been reminded that the project referes to the Construction of Phase I of the Pafos - Polis Chrysochous Motorway, and consists of a 15 km long motorway with two 900 meter long tunnels and five 1,400 meter long high bridges.
