Isrotel, a hotel chain with 23 hotels across Israel, has launched a new expansion under the name ALUMA, which means "ray of light" in Hebrew.
The new expansion will include several hotels in Greece. The first hotel, the 4-star Skylark, with a capacity of 199 rooms, will be located near Omonia Square and is set to open in March.
The hotel will also feature a restaurant, bar, rooftop pool, gym, and meeting room. Isrotel's second hotel in Athens, the 4-star ANISE, will open in the Psirri area with 63 rooms initially, which will later increase to 105. The hotel will include a restaurant, bar, roof terrace, swimming pool, and spa.
The third hotel, ADIA, a 5-star hotel, is expected to open by the end of the year in the historical triangle of Athens. The hotel will have a capacity of 218 rooms with a restaurant, bar, rooftop, swimming pool, spa, conference/meeting rooms, and retail space.
The chain is also planning to open another hotel in Thessaloniki by the end of 2024. The total investment for this phase of the expansion in Greece is expected to reach 70 million euros.
Isrotel began its development in the early 1980s and currently has eight hotels in the resort town of Eilat in southern Israel.
