As of today (Monday, October 16), the new digital platform for electronic performance for bailiffs in the Land Registry, through ktimatologio.gov.gr, starts its operation.

The use of the new platform will be on pilot mode until January first 2024, when it will become mandatory.

The new platform provides the possibility of electronic research in the cadastral records and data on the properties of the district where the bailiffs perform their duties.

In addition, they can submit digitally to the Land Registry Offices (and their Branches, see coverage areas), during working days and from 08.30 to 13.30, registration applications for the deeds they have drawn up and signed or for the registered deeds they contained in documents they circulate and receive digitally (in .pdf format) the Certificate of Registration.

On a local holiday, when the public service of the Land Registry Office or Branch remains closed, any electronically submitted remote requests for the registration of a deed will not be processed on the grounds of inadmissible submission. The same applies in cases where the operation of the Land Registry Office or the Branch is suspended, with a relevant decision of a competent body.

The certification of the Bailiffs as users, as well as the granting of user codes to them, will be carried out through the relevant electronic register of O.D.E.E. (portal.odee.gr), while the Bailiffs must have a valid digital signature.

After the application for registration of the deed has been submitted, the competent Land Office will proceed with its invoicing and an informative email will automatically be sent and the "Debt Form" will appear in the system. The amount indicated on the "Debt Form" should be paid through a Bank, within three working days from the date on the "Debt Form" not including this day. The payment of the amount can also be made using web-banking. The electronic application provides the possibility of monitoring the progress of each application. Once the registration of the application is implemented, the Certificate of Registration will be sent.
