The development of digital skills is a fundamental factor for the employment of young people in the modern economy, and it is precisely the lack of these very skills that poses one of their main difficulties in joining the labour market. The program aims to increase sustainable employment, reduce the digital skills gap in the target group, and advance innovative thinking and entrepreneurial activity.
Data Youth will provide free counselling and skills training to 25 unemployed youths using the award-winning methodology of the Skills and Employability Accelerator, a holistic and personalized training program.
Participants will receive free counselling, strengths identification, empowerment sessions, a CV, mentoring by market professionals and links to companies and organizations.
The Data Youth initiative actively endorses the European Union's digital skills agenda. By providing training and professional support to unemployed young people, the program contributes to creating a more digitally skilled and competitive workforce, promoting innovation, economic growth, and social cohesion.
Knowl’s Skills and Employability Accelerator is offered free of charge as part of MYTILINEOS' Corporate Social Responsibility actions in support of the Global Sustainable Development Goals for No Poverty (1), Quality Education (4), Decent Work & Economic Growth (8) and Reduced Inequalities (10).
