Students and teachers from four other polytechnics in Europe, Porto, Valencia, Bologna and Zagreb, visited sites of architectural and regional interest and studied the settlements in Firopotamos, Mandrakia, Skinopi and Klima.
During their three-day stay on the island, the students had the opportunity to visit and record the architecture of the traditional seaside settlements, to visit museums and archaeological sites and to taste the local gastronomy.
The theme of the architecture workshop was "Designing with Landscape". All from Southern European and Mediterranean countries, the architecture students listened to the place and learned from the wisdom of traditional wires, but also the shared cultural space of Southern Europe.
Taking into account scientific data on bioclimatic planning and the prevention of the effects of climate change, they will proceed with proposals for modern habitation and employment of the place.
