During February 2024 compared with the corresponding month of 2023, museums recorded a 22.4% increase in the number of visitors and a 29.7% increase in the number of free admission visitors, as well as an 11.1% increase in their receipts.
As regards archaeological sites, in February 2024 compared with the corresponding month of 2023, an increase of 44.1% was recorded in the number of visitors, of 59.5% in the number of free admission visitors and of 33.0% in the corresponding receipts.
During the two-month period from January to February 2024, compared to the corresponding period of 2023, an increase of 11.8% was recorded in the number of visitors of museums, of 16.0% in the number of free admission visitors and of 7.9% in the relevant receipts.
As regards archaeological sites, during the two-month period from January to February 2024, compared to
the corresponding period of 2023, an increase of 34.2% was recorded in the number of visitors, while an increase of
56.8% was observed in the number of free admission visitors and of 23.9% in the relevant receipts
