Optima bank's IPO prospectus was apporved by the HCMC

The Prospectus foresees the realization of the public offer between September 27-29, with the disposal of 21,000,000 new shares, which constitutes 28.5% of its total shares.

Optima bank is nearing completion of a public offering proceeds in the Athens Stock Exchange, following the approval of its Prospectus by the Capital Market Commission.

In particular, the Prospectus foresees the realization of the public offer between September 27-29, with the disposal of 21,000,000 new shares, which constitutes 28.5% of its total shares.

With the new funds expected to approach 150 million euros, Optima bank will gain further momentum, strengthening its own funds that will be used to expand its loan portfolio.

The goal of Optima bank is to continue to contribute to the strengthening of the Greek economy, supporting entrepreneurship through the granting of loans for sustainable investment projects, which respect the environment, promote corporate social responsibility, and contribute to the economic development of the country.

Recently, the bank announced its financial results for the first half of 2023, showing a profit of 44.1 million euros at the group level, an amount that exceeds the profit of the whole of last year. These profits, annualized, correspond to a 29.6% return on equity.

Its total assets amounted to 3.2 billion euros, increased by 601 million euros compared to 31.12.2022, while its deposits in the first half of the year exceed 2.8 billion euros. As for loans, they exceeded 2 billion euros, increased by 351 million euros compared to the end of 2022.
