The Public Properties Company S.A. (HPPC) has successfully concluded the electronic open ascending-price auction (e-auction) for the sale of property ABK 583, located at 133A Antonopoulou Street, in the heart of Volos—widely recognized by the local community as the "Tachydromos" building.
The asset is a seven-story building with a total built area of 3,075.63 sq.m., situated on a 528.5 sq.m. plot. Constructed in 1972, the property had remained inactive for over a decade. Nonetheless, its prime urban location attracted considerable investment interest, positioning it as an ideal candidate for redevelopment into a mixed-use scheme.
The auction was held on May 16, 2025, via HPPC's official online platform (www.e-publicrealestate.gr), with a starting price set at €950,000. The process was marked by significant competitive bidding, ultimately resulting in a final sale price of €1,700,000—an increase of 79% over the initial reserve. The successful bidder was Premia Properties S.A.
