In 2024, Premier Capital Greece served over 11.5 million visitors across its 35 McDonald's restaurants, employing 1,700 workers. This growth was mainly driven by the expansion of the network within the country, including the opening of three new McDonald's locations in Nea Smyrni, Korydallos, and Thessaloniki, as well as the modernization of the restaurant in Rhodes.
According to the company’s announcement, Premier Capital Greece invested over €4.4 million in opening new restaurants and renovating existing ones, integrating digital technologies to enhance the visitor experience.
For 2025, Premier Capital Greece plans to continue its investments with the goal of further expanding the McDonald’s network in the local market.
Additionally, the company has developed a new state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Aspropyrgos, covering approximately 4,000 square meters, representing an investment of €6.5 million. This facility will enhance the efficiency of McDonald's distribution chain in Greece and support the company's growth strategy for the next decade.
Premier Capital Greece is also consistently implementing innovative strategies for sustainability and social responsibility. As part of this commitment, the company has achieved ISO 50001:2018 certification, the international standard for energy management systems, designed to improve performance and efficiency through a structured approach to monitoring and reducing energy and water consumption. Furthermore, the company is committed to contributing to a circular economy with its Zero Waste program, aiming for zero waste to landfills, which is expected to be relaunched in 2025.
McDonald's is dedicated to feeding and supporting communities. In Greece, the company has strong social ties, supports the non-profit organization Ronald McDonald House Charities Greece (RMHC Greece), and contributed to the creation of its first project in the country, the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital in Athens. Additionally, the company encourages employee volunteerism at its central offices and restaurants. In 2024, 929 employees dedicated 3,958 hours to support various community initiatives.
