The Ecclesiastical Central Service of the Church of Greece (EKYO), which manages the Church's real estate assets, is launching a competitive process for the sale of two prime plots of land in Vouliagmeni.

The first property is located on Esperidon Street and an approved, undeveloped road named Hector, with a total area of 992 m².

The property is encumbered by a lease that is currently in dispute, as the tenant has not vacated the premises, despite the contractual lease term having expired on June 30, 2024. The Church of Greece has filed a lawsuit before the Athens Single-Member Court of First Instance on July 25, 2024, seeking the return of possession. The case is scheduled for hearing on January 22, 2026.

Submitted offers will pertain exclusively to the granting of a surface rights agreement for 99 years on the property, with an annual fee of at least €70,000.

The second auction involves the sale of a three-story apartment building with a total area of 864.12 m², located on Thaleias Street in Vouliagmeni. The building consists of six apartments, all of which have either expired or will expire by the end of this year.

Interested parties must submit offers equal to or greater than the minimum acceptable bid of €4,100,000.

The deadline for submitting offers is Friday, April 4, 2025, by 12:00 noon.
