Savills Investment Management has expanded into the Swedish market with the €35.2 million acquisition of a newly constructed logistics facility in Gothenburg.

The transaction marks the first Scandinavian investment for the firm’s European Urban Logistics & Industrial Fund (EULIF).

The 15,000 m² Grade A facility is fully leased on a 10-year term to a prominent Swedish car manufacturer. Strategically situated less than 2 km from the Port of Gothenburg, the asset offers direct access to key transport routes connecting Gothenburg and Stockholm, making it a critical hub within Sweden’s logistics network.

The building targets a BREEAM 'Excellent' certification and includes sustainability features such as photovoltaic panels, EV charging stations, and green lease agreements—aligning with growing investor demand for ESG-compliant logistics assets.

The seller, Sörred Logistikpark—a joint venture between Catena and Platzer—recently completed the development. Gothenburg continues to attract industrial occupiers due to its strategic location and limited land availability near the port, contributing to long-term rental growth prospects and tenant resilience.
