The first loans through the so called "My House" housing program of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) are being disbursed.

The first loans refer to primary residences purchases by young people, after the approval of the loans by the respective banks, as well as the successful legal and technical due diligence of the properties. As mentioned in a related announcement, the "My Home" program is being implemented at a rapid pace and has received a huge response.

Specifically, from the start of applications on April 3, 2023 until today:

- A total of 36,544 applications were submitted, of which 25,573 have already been evaluated, i.e. 7 out of 10 (70%).

- Of the 25,573 evaluated applications, 17,606 received pre-approval, i.e. almost 7 out of 10 (69%), while the rest were rejected, as they did not meet the conditions.

- Of the 17,066 pre-approvals, 4,706 loans have already been approved, i.e. more than 1 in 4 (28%), as a property has been found and the legal and technical audit has begun, with an average approval amount of approximately 104,896 euros.

- 62% of approved loans concern the purchase of a first home by couples, while 87% concern beneficiaries with an annual income of up to 24,000 euros.

- 39% of the approved loans concern the purchase of a first home in Attica and 22% in Central Macedonia, while 7% concern the Region of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace and 6% concern Western Greece and Thessaly respectively.
