The first "Pumptrack" in Attica was recently delivered for public use in Municipality of Alimos.

It is a bike and skate track with high safety standards user friendly and in particular for children and young people.

According to the Mayor of Alimos, Mr. Andreas Kondylis "as of today we are handing over to use the brand new pump track on Pani hill, next to the playgrounds. It is the first pump track in Attica, and one of the very few in Greece, that has been made of soil and natural solid materials.

This particular pumptrack is a course consisting of undulating obstacles and raised turns and is addressed to every wheeled sports equipment users. The aim of the user in the track is to constantly move along the route, taking advantage of the natural power of the momentum, which he acquires by pressing correctly on the obstacles, without having to pedal or push with his legs to get a speed.

It is noted that this is a single and easy to use track for all ages.
