Additionally, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, following the implementation of the approved traffic regulations, the works are progressing at an exceptionally fast pace along the majority of the construction site.
Specifically, earthworks are in full progress, along with the construction of small and medium-sized technical structures and hydraulic projects. Simultaneously, the construction of large technical works, such as the Cut and Cover structures [T8], [T15], and [T21] in the Konstantinopolitika area, as well as before the bridge of the Elevated Expressway, has commenced and is underway.
For the construction of the Elevated Expressway, a four-kilometer flyover, a rolling metal formwork (mold) is being installed for the concreting process. This formwork will move hydraulically along the entire project, positioned on the piers that are already being constructed.
The project has already been completed by approximately 20%, and according to the timeline, its completion date is set for May 16, 2027.
