The property, with the restoration of which the entire building complex of the old municipal slaughterhouses is being upgraded and given to the city, is granted for use by the Municipality of Thessaloniki to the Association of Greek Industries and the Company of Business and Cultural Development of Thessaloniki.
As planned, this small building, that today is completly abandoned is to be reconstructed and the project will be financed by the Association of Greek Industries and EEPATH in a way that will completely preserve the character of the industrial building and ensure absolute aesthetic harmony with the already renovated buildings on the site of the old municipal slaughterhouses.
The plan to change the use of the premises is being completed
It is recalled that the Municipality of Thessaloniki has utilized the emblematic building of the old municipal slaughterhouses, which dominates the area, as an International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills as part of its strategic collaboration with Cisco. "Now with the restoration of the last small building, the reuse of the building complex of the old municipal slaughterhouses is completed and the whole area is being upgraded", stressed the Deputy Mayor of Finance Sokratis Dimitriadis.
