The Produce e-Green action has just been launched

The budget of the program is €199,700,000 and will be financed from the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund

The Produce e-Green action was published in the Government Gazette, to support investments in the creation of industrial units that will produce products of the electric mobility chain, RES and energy saving products.

The budget of the program is €199,700,000, from the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund and the platform (https://producegreen.gov.gr) will be available for submitting applications from 05/30/2023.

In this way, companies that wish to operate in these sectors of the economy, new or existing, will have the possibility to be subsidized with a rate of up to 70% for the production of electric cars or the assembly of their parts, for the production of electric chargers vehicles, batteries or their recycling, for the production of light personal electric vehicles (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, bicycles), photovoltaic panels, parts of wind turbines, heat pumps, electric water heaters, etc.

The action will provide financial incentives for the construction or purchase of building facilities or the expansion - modernization of existing ones, for the supply of mechanical equipment and the construction of technical facilities, for the supply of production equipment, for the research and development of products, for the supply of software , etc.

Beneficiaries of the action are new or existing companies, of any legal form (OE/EU/IKE/EPE/AE) and size, that carry out or will carry out a production activity having as their main activity one of those described in the announcement decision (Government Gazette B' 3156).

The aid rates for this category depend on the location (Region / Regional Unit) of the investment, as well as on the size of the company (large/very small/small/medium/large) which is a beneficiary of the action.

The application information system will remain open until November 30, 2023, or until the available resources are exhausted.
