The scheme of strategic importance "Research-Innovate" to be launched next week.

The "Research-Innovate" action has a budget of 300 million euros and funding applications can be submitted by individual SMEs, business groups or even business partnerships with research organizations.

The main objective is to link research and innovation with entrepreneurship and to strengthen the competitiveness, productivity and extroversion of businesses towards international markets, with the aim of transitioning to quality innovative entrepreneurship and increasing domestic added value.

Funding applications should relate to research and innovation projects and be part of one of the four interventions:

I. Research and Development by Enterprises

II. Business Partnerships with Research Organizations

III. Utilization of Research Results

IV. Seal of Excellence for businesses

The submission of Funding Applications (proposals) is done electronically in the Greek language through the Integrated Information System of State Aids (ISIS).

Thursday 06.06.2024 at 12:00 p.m. is set as the start date for the electronic submission of funding applications to the Integrated State Aid Information System (ISIS), for all Interventions of the Action, with the closing dates as follows:

– for Intervention I on Wednesday 10.07.2024 at 15:00

– for Intervention II on Wednesday 17.07.2024 at 15:00

– for Interventions III and IV the Call will remain open until the exhaustion of the available budget per Region Category and at the latest until Wednesday 27.11.2024 at 15:00.

The action is implemented by the Special Service for the Management and Implementation of Actions in the Research and Innovation Sectors (EYDE EC) of the Ministry of Development and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union through the Competitiveness Program.

It is noted that the vast majority of the projects of the previous one, Research - Innovate, have been funded and by the end of August the absorption will be at 100%.
