The ministry authorized HRADF to "run" the process and decide the timetables such as indicatively the final date for submission of tenders as well as the final date for unsealing the tenders, as well as to proceed with amendments related to them as well as overall to the announcement contest.
The services of nine Ministries of the Greek Government (Ministry of Finance, Development and Investments, Environment and Energy, Labor and Social Affairs, of Rural Development and Food, Health, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Interior) and various bodies (AADE, EESYP SA, HRADF SA, HPPC SA), which today are scattered mainly in the center of Athens, while some of their addresses or services are also in Piraeus, Marousi and Holargos.
The Special Urban Planning Plan foresees a maximum total construction of 148,704 sq.m., of which 98,000 will be for new buildings
In the area there are 91 buildings with a total construction area of 88,670.7 sq.m. of which 25 are preserved and protected while an additional five new ones are being built.
The tender for the project, which will be implemented through the Public-Private Partnership process (via PPP), was planned to go live in early 2023 with the cost initially estimated at around €250 million.
