The project "Unified Property Registry e-registries" is included in the Recovery and Resilience Fund with a total public expenditure of €8,285,308.

The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, and the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis, have made the relevant decision.

The scope of the project involves the design, implementation, deployment, and support of the operational functionality of the Unified Property Registry. The goal is to create a comprehensive information system that will gather, systematize, and integrate digital information maintained by various public and private sector entities. This information will cover property details in the country (buildings, plots, etc.) as well as information about their use (e.g., energy and telecommunications infrastructure, rentals, tax obligations, etc.).

It is important to emphasize that the Unified Property Registry does not require citizens to resubmit their data on any platform. Instead, state databases (such as the Land Registry, AADE, DEDDHE, Urban Planning, etc.) and their information systems will interoperate, so that any changes to individual data will automatically update the entire public sector without further action needed from individuals.

The project's goal is to reduce bureaucracy, enhance transparency and reliability in the real estate market, and support entrepreneurship and innovation through open data and analytical tools.
