The joint venture, in collaboration with JAYCEE, a significant company in the cementitious materials (SCM) sector, will operate under the newly established Atlas EcoSolutions Private Limited, with the TITAN Group holding the majority of shares.
According to the company, this initiative strengthens its geographic presence and aligns with its strategic priority to expand its portfolio of green products, aiming for a carbon-neutral footprint.
The new company will focus on the procurement, processing, marketing, and distribution of cementitious materials (SCM) in global markets. By offering SCM as sustainable alternatives to clinker-based cement, the TITAN Group will assist its customers in developing sustainable construction projects worldwide.
Building on previous SCM initiatives, including participation in "Perlites Aegean" in Greece, acquisition of concession rights for the pozzolan mine in Vezirhan, Turkey, and collaboration with Ecocem to develop low-carbon cement innovations in Europe, TITAN continues to implement its "2026 Strategy for Green Development."
The Group aims to expand its presence in the promising South Asian market and neighboring regions, while introducing new materials and advanced technologies. The location of the new company creates opportunities to meet both domestic and global demand for low-carbon building materials. It leverages India’s abundant resources for an economically efficient and reliable supply chain, supported by strong logistics infrastructure.
Jean-Philippe Benard, Head of Supply Chain and Energy Development, Member of the Executive Committee of the TITAN Group, overseeing international trade and cementitious materials development, stated: “The joint venture is fully aligned with our strategy to remain at the forefront of low-carbon building materials and highlights our unwavering commitment to sustainable development and innovation. Entering the South Asian market positions us in a region with vast potential, both in market demand and sustainability issues. Securing long-term access to SCM provides the TITAN Group with a key alternative for the strategic diversification of its portfolio with new low-carbon cements.”
"We are proud that the TITAN Group has chosen India for its expansion into South Asia. This strategic partnership aligns with India’s sustainable development goals as well as TITAN's goals to significantly strengthen its green product portfolio and achieve a carbon-neutral footprint by 2050. It will enhance India’s position in the global low-carbon building materials sector," added Mr. Rishit Dalal, CEO of JAYCEE.
