In the last twelve months, from February 2023 until January 2024, Total Building Activity (private-public) in Greece,calculated on the basis of the number of issued building permits, amounted to 27,241.
This figure corresponds to6,296,520 m2 of surface and 29,343,580 m3 of volume. In comparison with the corresponding period from February2022 until January 2023, there is a 6.9% increase in the number of building permits, a 12.0% increase in surface and a14.4% increase in volume.
In the same period, from February 2023 untill January 2024, Private Building Activity in Greece recorded a 6.9% increasein the number of issued building permits, an 11.7% increase in surface and a 14.4% increase in volume, compared withthe corresponding period from February 2022 to January 2023.
During the same period, Public Building Activityaccounted for a 2.4% of the total building volume.
