Based in Patras, Uni Systems-Knowledge Technology Hub aims to develop a specialized team of experts that will be actively covering, both qualitatively and quantitatively, the growing digital needs of modern businesses

Uni Systems, in collaboration with Knowledge S.A., an integrated IT solutions provider with 30 years of successful course in informatics, announced the establishment of Uni Systems-Knowledge Technology Hub. The Technology Hub, based in Patras, aims at offering opportunities for digital development and employment in Western Greece for the development of specialized solutions and the support of the growing needs of contemporary businesses in both Greece and abroad.

Five years after the beginning of the successful partnership between the two companies in 2018, Uni Systems and Knowledge are further extending their collaboration to jointly create a Technology Hub that will strengthen the local digital economy and create new jobs in the area, while meeting Uni Systems’ needs as regards the development of specialized solutions and the implementation of complex projects.

The primary objective is the setup of a team of approximately 100 specialized employees within 2024, with a focus on expertise on the software development lifecycle, thus analysts, developers, testers, and architects.

The development of Technology Hubs is part of Uni Systems’ Strategic Development Plan; the company has chosen to expand its cooperation with Knowledge on the basis of the converging operations of the two companies and their common characteristics, such as the highly scientific and technologically trained specialized workforce, the experience in the implementation of large-scale projects and the reliability in project delivery.

Moreover, the city of Patras will serve as the technological hub drawing resources from the wider region of Western Greece, a region with significant potential in terms of both academic and business potential.
