Uni Systems undertakes the Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) project for the Hellenic Cadastre

Uni Systems has taken on the project of the Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) digital services for the Hellenic Cadastre, a project that is expected to upgrade the services provided to the citizens and improve the overall experience of the Organization’s users.

In addition to installing the equipment and the related Citrix software, the project will also cover the support, maintenance and training services for the Hellenic Cadastre’s employees, and at the same time will include the provision of Managed Services aiming at enhancing the organization’s efficiency, immediacy and overall flexibility. The implementation will also include the deployment of a primary and a backup VDI system in the respective Data Centers to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and data security.

The services will initially cover the needs of 1,000 users, while the organization reserves the option to expand the contract when deemed necessary in order to meet the needs of up to 1,500 users over time.

The project will be implemented in the course of the next 8 months and Managed Services will be offered for 48 months while the total value will amount to €3,4 million.
