The airline is increasing its weekly flights to New York/Newark Airport from 7 to 10 (subject to relevant government approvals) and is also resuming flights to the New York/Newark and Chicago O'Hare hubs three weeks earlier.
Just one year after launching its route from Athens Airport to Chicago O'Hare Airport in May 2024, United will also begin using a state-of-the-art Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on this route, offering more than 30% more seats compared to the Boeing 787-8 that previously served this route.
Along with United's third daily seasonal nonstop service between Athens and Washington, the airline's total seats offered on flights from Greece to the US will increase by nearly 30% for the summer of 2025. United Airlines today announced an expansion of seasonal flights with daily direct connections from Athens to the USA for the summer of 2025.
