Additional “retaliatory” tariffs came into effect at 07:01 (Greek time), replacing the previous 10% base tariffs that had been applied since April on nearly all products imported into the United States from most countries.
These tariffs exhibit significant variation, ranging from 15% to 41%.
The European Union, Japan, and South Korea—among the United States' principal trading partners—are subject to tariffs of 15% on most of their products.
