GEK TERNA transfers its share interests in subsidiaries to its related entity HERON II VIOTIAS
The total price of the transactions sealed, amounts to 18.6 million euros
GEK TERNA S.A. and TERNA ENERGY S.A., in the context of the continuous optimization of their organizational structure and in accordance with article 100 of Law 4548/2018 announced the transfer of its share interest in TERNA ENERGY TRADING LTD' to its related firm "HERON II VIOTIAS SA".
The company has isued a detailed press release, to inform investors on the issues attached.
In further detail, the total price of the transactions sealed, amounts to 18.6 million euros.
The minutes of the Company's Board of Directors of 11.11.2022 and the above reports have been registered in the General Commercial Register (G.E.MH.) and the prescribed formalities and procedures of Law 4548/2018 will be followed. With these transactions, GEK TERNA Group optimizes its organizational structure, further strengthening the vertical position of the sector of trading and thermal energy generation.
It is noted that in the same context the Group recently acquired 100% of the companies "HERON Energy SA" and "HERON II VIOTIAS SA".
At the same time, these transactions will allow TERNA ENERGY Group to focus on its core activity,
the production and storage of energy from renewable sources, releasing additional funds for the
implementation of its investment program.
