More specifically, based on this agreement, the facilities of ATHINAIKI ZYTHOPIOIA in the area of Moschohori Fthiotidos, i.e. a plot of land with a total area of 99,209 m2 and the building facilities within it with an area of 12,230 m2, become the property of PREMIA.
The lessee of the property and the contractor of the business will be the newly established company IOLI PIGI, a subsidiary of STERNER STENHUS GREECE (main shareholder of PREMIA which from November 2022 also owns the majority stake in BOUTARI WINERY SA).
The new investment is aligned with PREMIA PROPERTIES' investment plan and strengthens the company's presence in the industrial real estate sector, while further strengthening STERNER STENHUS' activity in the FnB sector. IOLI Natural Mineral Water springs at the foot of the Oitis mountain range and is bottled directly at the source, without undergoing any treatment or intervention in its composition.
The transfer will be completed by March 30, 2023. As part of the implementation of the agreement, all the employees exclusively employed at the IOLI plant of the Athenian Brewery will be transferred to the new company, IOLI PIGI, which will continue the production of IOLI Natural Mineral Water , while for a period of 12 months the distribution of IOLI will continue to be done through the Athenian Brewery network, in order to ensure the smoothness of the transition and the uninterrupted availability of the product on the market.
