The distinction is based on the assessment of companies’ sustainability performance and, according to the Group, reflects the strategic integration of sustainable development principles across all business activities, from decision-making and innovation to the creation of long-term value.
As noted in the relevant announcement, Titan Cement Group continues to invest in responsible business practices, aiming to strengthen the trust of employees, customers, partners, investors, and local communities, while also contributing to industrial transformation and the transition toward a more sustainable economy.
The Group’s Director of Innovation and Sustainable Development, Leonidas Kanellopoulos, stated that recognition from TIME is a strong confirmation of the Group’s strategic direction and its commitment to playing a leading role in promoting responsible business practices and climate action. He added that the distinction also reflects the progress achieved in the Group’s transformation under the “TITAN Forward 2029” strategy.
For 2026, the TIME evaluation covered 5,800 companies worldwide, with the list including the 750 highest-performing companies in sustainability, drawn from 43 countries and 20 different industries.
