The new strategy marks a shift toward a model of integrated tourism asset management services, aiming to develop hospitality properties with a distinct identity, a strong design footprint, and an emphasis on operational efficiency. At the core of this approach lies the strategic management of hospitality units, with the goal of optimising the guest experience while ensuring sustainable operational profitability.
This development follows the acquisition of Brown Hotels’ operations in Greece and Israel by Israel Canada Hotels last summer, a move that signalled a new chapter in the group’s evolution. Through the new structure, the company retains the Brown Hotels brand, which remains associated with personalised hospitality experiences, while also seeking to strengthen and expand its presence in new markets and destinations.
According to its strategic plan, the chain is further expanding in Attica as well as across regional Greece, aiming to attract new investments and strategic partnerships in the hospitality sector.
Today, Brown Hospitality Management operates a portfolio of more than 40 hotel units across Greece, Israel, Cyprus, and Croatia, comprising approximately 4,000 rooms. Its activities span both proprietary brands and management partnerships for third-party international brands, including properties operating under Hilton-affiliated brands.
Its business model includes comprehensive services covering the entire value chain of a hospitality project—from development and design to operations, asset management, marketing, sales, staffing, and food and beverage management.
As part of its new strategic direction, the company has also launched a digital management platform, through which it presents its services to hoteliers, investors, and development groups, as well as its portfolio of managed properties.
In the Greek market, Brown Hospitality Management currently manages properties such as Brown Acropol, Villa Brown Ermou, Play Theatrou, and Play Psyri in Athens, as well as Brown Beach Chalkida, Brown Beach Evia Island, Isla Brown Corinthia Curio Collection by Hilton, and Play Paros in regional destinations.
This new strategy reflects the broader trend in the hospitality industry, where an increasing number of brands are shifting from traditional ownership and operation models to more flexible management-based structures, leveraging partnerships and diversifying revenue streams.
