Domes Resorts acquires Casa Collective Platform

  • RE+D Magazine

Domes Resorts has entered into an agreement with Goldman Sachs to acquire a majority stake in Casa Collective, the hospitality platform of Cook’s Club and Casa Cook, signaling the next stage in its international growth strategy.

The creator of the Cook’s Club and Casa Cook concepts, Remo Masala, will acquire a stake in the company and assume the role of strategic partner and Chief Creative Officer of Casa Collective. The transaction highlights growing investor confidence in scalable, brand-led hospitality models and lays the groundwork for the next phase of Casa Collective’s international expansion.

With a portfolio of 13 hotels in leading destinations, Casa Collective has a strong foundation for its next growth phase. Following the completion of the transaction, four new hotels are expected to be added to the portfolio, with additional opportunities currently under evaluation. The platform is designed to expand through franchise agreements, management contracts, and strategic partnerships, targeting both prime leisure destinations and major urban centers globally.

Dr. George P. Spanos, CEO of Domes Resorts, stated:

“We believe the future of hospitality lies in brands with a strong identity and an authentic connection with the traveler. Through this partnership, we are laying the foundations for the international expansion of Casa Collective while preserving the distinct character of each brand within the platform.”

Casa Collective will continue to operate as an independent hospitality platform, maintaining the distinct identity of each brand while leveraging Domes Resorts’ operational expertise, development capabilities, and investment strength.

The platform’s portfolio includes:

  • Cook’s Club, a dynamic hospitality concept centered on music, gastronomy, and community
  • Casa Cook, a minimal boutique concept defined by a relaxed, understated aesthetic where architecture, landscape, and community blend seamlessly
  • XIA, a new experiential family-oriented concept currently under development

Together, these brands form a complementary hospitality ecosystem, designed to evolve alongside travelers at different life stages and across diverse travel experiences. The platform is strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for experience-driven lifestyle hospitality, particularly among a new generation of globally mobile travelers.

Remo Masala, founder of Berlin-based innovation and brand development studio Vision Alphabet, joins Casa Collective as a shareholder, strategic partner, and head of creative. He is also the creator of XIA, which will join Cook’s Club and Casa Cook as the third pillar of the platform’s portfolio.

Commenting on the development, Masala said:

“Casa Collective was not conceived as a single brand, but as a framework for different ways of experiencing hospitality. As we grow, our focus is on strengthening the identity of each concept and further evolving the idea that connects them.”

He added that he is excited to be part of this new chapter of Casa Collective, a platform he helped shape a decade ago.
